Orisha are the guardian spirits in Yoruba religion. Orisha are said to be guardian spirits that each person has. It is believed that the one Supreme Being Olodumare created the guardian spirits to act as intermediaries between himself and man. Orisha comes in many guises and amongst other things offer guidance and protection.
