The artist Moses Zibor says that his grandfather inspired him to paint this piece. He reminisces that “at this time in my grandfathers village just when the sun was setting my grandfather would come out to tell us folktales. We would all sit quietly and listen to his melodious voice as he spoke of myths and legends, it was a time when you would see people coming back from the farm and settling down for the evening. It was a peaceful and restful time, and is remembered by me fondly”.
