This African textile is an attire native to Fulani women in the northern part of Nigeria in West Africa. The attached photos do not only show the attire but also show the way that they are worn. The garment is hand made and decorated with different colour cotton threads and mirrors. The top half of the garment measures 60cm (23.6inches) in width and 39cm (15.4inches) in length. The bottom half, which is called a wrapper, is worn as a skirt or a sarong – it measures 1meter 31cm in width and 1 meter 63cm.
