Grains of Knowledge African Folktale story writing competition

Prizes
Five stories will be short-listed. All short-listed writers will receive an African Folktale book and their stories will be published on Grains of Knowledge’s website. The winning writer will also receive and art set.
Rules
The competition is open to anyone aged between 8 and 16 and resident in the UK.
You can only enter one story. Your story must be 247 words or less, any entries over this word count will not be considered. Winners will be selected by a panel at Grains of Knowledge
Please make sure you include your name, age, address and a contact number or email address on your entry. Winners will be notified either by post or email. Closing date for receipt of entries is Monday 27th April 2009. Details of the winners will be posted up on Grains of Knowledge’s website
Terms and Conditions
Grains of Knowledge's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. All entries become the property of Grains of Knowledg; by participating in the competition, entrants consent to the use and publication of their names and contributions by Grains of Knowledge. Participation in the competition signifies acceptance of these rules.
