Opon ifa also known as divination tray. It is the primary tool of a diviner. A diviner is a seer who would be consulted generally in the same manner that a person would consult a tarot card reader. The diviner would act as an intermediary with the board in front of him. People would go and consult with the diviner for the resolution for a host of problems from medical to social. The carver who created this divination board carved the face of Eshu at the top of the board – in most cases the face of Eshu on a diviners board presents the all seeing eye.
